How do I promote my Company and its products and services within SteelWeb?

SteelWeb operates on an annual membership scheme.

For companies already active on the Internet with a WWW site and wishing to promote themseleves within SteelWeb, the membership scheme is open for them to join. Prices and terms and conditions are available on request by e-mail.

We provide a two tier access system to your companies WWW site. First of all under the companies section you would have an alphabetic listing. However, if a visitor is unaware of your companies name or existence, but knows the type of product or service that they are interested in, by selecting a product or service they will be presented with a list of relevant companies and their sites.

Industry Connect designs and builds professional WWW sites for businesses as a seperate service. They are also entitled to join the scheme. For businesses without a WWW site but with an e-mail address we are able to list your company under both sections. We will include a brief summary of the various products and services that you offer and incorporate a mailing facility for visitors to SteelWeb to request further information from you.

Special Events

SteelWeb is concerned in providing a professional resource to its visitors. We therefore seek to maintain a comprehensive list of forthcoming conferences and exhibitions on a worldwide basis.

Currently we list the details of the date, venue and details of the organiser. We are looking to expand this service for our visitors by providing a new level of service.

For organisers with or wishing to have a WWW site we will create links from the listing, into a more detailed site. This could include for Conferences a proposed list of papers/topics, details of venue, access by rail, road & air, and an on-line order form to reserve a place.

For exhibitions, a floorplan of the exhibiton hall and booth set ups. A list of exhibitors, various exhibition packages, details of installation, times of opening, and areas reserved for press, dining, catering and meetings.

If you are aware of, or responsible for, organising an exhibition or conference related to the industry, please e-mail the details to us using the mail to button at the bottom of the page.

Please also use the e-mail button should you wish us to contact you with regard to proposing and building a WWW site to promote the event.
